Youtube How to Set Up a Delayed Upload
Is there a filibuster between the time you upload a video the time information technology is available to be viewed? I uploaded a couple, but when I try and view them, they say "THIS VIDEO IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE." Do they have to exist vetted by someone first, or something?
Greg
Hi Greg,
At that place is a delay between uploading and being available as the videos are re-calibrated for spider web viewing. Simply that error message sounds similar something different though... Can you lot send me a PM regarding which video(s) information technology is and I'll expect into it?!
Thanks,
Sam
It all seems fine at present. The first couple videos I uploaded, it took well-nigh 20 - 30 minutes for them to appear and be viewable. The third video I uploaded, later on in the day was bachelor almost immediately. Perchance Fliqz was just running ho-hum yesterday.
From what I understand, it can have upward to 24 hours on some sites to become the videos really showing. I've been told that's not the instance with fliqz, simply I imagine delays could occur if too many big files come through further up the line ... I enjoyed the petty videos in your blog entries; bummer you lot didn't get one of the real gang fight
Hmm, seems to exist happening once again. I uploaded a video yesterday around apex, and it isn't showing yet (almost 24 hours later).
I'm having a like problem but it seems to just affect one user (so far). I tin can view the last couple of video's I uploaded just fine - I put mine on YouTube and then link to them in the blog.
Notwithstanding, one of my readers (an Aunt) says when she tries to play them she gets the bulletin "THIS VIDEO IS NO LONGER Available." I haven't heard if anyone else has had the trouble or not.
Nosotros've never had this happen before, has something changed in the video histrion?

Hmm, seems to exist happening again. I uploaded a video yesterday around noon, and it isn't showing yet (almost 24 hours after).
I'g checking with Fliqz on this, simply wasn't notified of any outages. Has the vid appeared still?

However, 1 of my readers (an Aunt) says when she tries to play them she gets the message "THIS VIDEO IS NO LONGER Bachelor." I oasis't heard if anyone else has had the problem or not.
We've never had this happen before, has something changed in the video player?
So are you embedding the Youtube videos direct into your weblog and that'south where she's playing them from? Or are yous linking to a Youtube video and your aunt is clicking on that link and and so not finding the video? In example of the latter in that location'south little we can practice virtually it equally she's obviously catastrophe up on some other site. No idea why those videos would be being removed past Youtube though! Bold it'southward the first, information technology still doesn't make much sense to me as zip has changed with the Youtube side of things.
If you are uploading using Fliqz so embedding and the video isn't showing whatever longer, and then that indicates the video is deleted. In that case though it would give the same error for ALL readers.
Any risk your aunt can allow y'all know on which page she's seeing this?

So are you embedding the Youtube videos directly into your web log
Judging by this blog post the Youtube videos are being embedded (that's the best way to do it besides of course!). In that case your aunt must be looking at a blog post where the Youtube video was removed past Youtube OR there'south something wrong with your aunts computer/flash software. I'm leaning towards the first choice because of the error bulletin she'due south getting, but in that case it applies to all visitors of that entry. So a link to the entry would still be really useful
Hm, I never even thought about posting a link, what a great idea! I'll try to proceed this in mind in the futurity (she says, slightly embarrased).
The problem seems to have fixed itself, she says she tin now run the video's. I ever embed them to keep it as easy as possible for my readers. Didn't fifty-fifty occur to me there was more then ane way to exercise this (e.g., post them as a link). Of class, you lot wouldn't take whatsoever way to know that, so if in that location are whatever more issues going frontwards I'll try to be more explicit.
Information technology seems that my aunt is the merely 1 who had trouble. I could play the videos and I know other people did from the YouTube count. And then I don't know why information technology affected only her. I did effort deleting one of the video's from the blog entry, then reinserted information technology, but I didn't do that for the second video she had trouble with - and at present she says they both are working. And then I doubt if my delete/reinsert fabricated any difference.
Since everything is working OK for at present, not sure you need the link. However if you desire to bank check it out, the video is near the lesser of this web log entry:

It seems that my aunt is the only one who had trouble. I could play the videos and I know other people did from the YouTube count. So I don't know why information technology affected but her.
I do know that if I am on my network at work or accessing a blog with my work VPN turned on, any videos from YouTube will not appear due to the firewall my work has gear up blocking them. Could be that your Aunt was experiencing something like this - a firewall blocking access to the content from YouTube.
